There’s great power in story so it’s important to share both our struggles and successes – that’s what I’ve realized

It’s 2: 38 PM on day 3175 since I started blogging and I managed to pray, read Bible, spend time outside and work on my 28 For 28 Campaign benefiting charity:water  – thanks to Anon’s $50 donation we’ve now raised $2 872 of $28 000 with 31 days to go

Today I was reminded that there’s great power in story so it’s important to share both our struggles and successes I know it’s tempting to share with the world only our successes but that would be disingenuous on our part – you know that before every pinnacle in your life there was a really low point – it’s important to share both your highs and lows so that those currently experiencing lows have something to hope for   

Life is not a victory-only journey– that’s what I’ve realized.

Today I was reminded that life is not a victory-only journey we win some we lose more.

Periods of illness makes you appreciate health – that’s what I’ve realized.

Spend the whole day getting over my nausea and massive headache – it’s a Westlife and chill kinda day

This morning I wasn’t feeling so great thankfully I’m feeling better but this morning made me appreciate all the other days I was well

We miss a lot of things when we are preoccupied with our own lives.

Spend time with my people

Yesterday some people reminded me that while we are chasing our goals and dreams we can miss a lot of things mostly that people need us

Sometimes the love of life is not a feeling but rather a choice– that’s what I have realized

Today I have many reasons not to love life but I’m choosing to love life if only for the mere fact that my family members, friends and I are alive and relatively healthy
