Day 2582: Einstein, Insanity and Life

If what you’re doing is not working do something different– that’s my message to the world.

It’s 1: 19 PM on day 2582 of my journey towards independence and I managed to pray, read Luke 12:33-34 and promote my 50 New Feet Campaign benefiting MiracleFeet -raised $4012 only $8 488 more to raise by June 17, 2018 to help 50 kids with clubfoot (thanks to everyone who has helped out so far) .

This morning I was feeling a little stuck and an Einstein quote popped into my head insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result so I’m going to try different ways of doing things until I find a way that works.

Day 2581: A Symbol of Possibility

I sit as a symbol of what’s possible for differently-abled people– that’s what I’ve realized.

It’s 12: 10 PM on day 2581 of my journey towards independence and I managed to pray, read Romans 14:17-19 and promote my 50 New Feet Campaign benefiting MiracleFeet – A HUGE thanks to East London Malayalee Elma who donated $72 and uncle Jose Mammen who donated $108 which brings the total raised to which brings the total raised to $4 012 only $8 488 more to raise by June 17, 2018 to help 50 kids with clubfoot.

Yesterday I realized that because I’ve flipped the script on what it means to be differently-abled I sit as a symbol of what’s possible for differently-abled people.

Day 2580: God-Approved and Self-Approved

If you feel God-approved and if you are self-approved then you won’t feel the need to prove yourself to anyone – that’s what I want the world to know.

It’s 8: 14 AM on day 2580 of my journey towards independence and I managed to pray, read Hosea 6: 6 and promote my 50 New Feet Campaign benefiting MiracleFeet -raised $3 831 only $8 669 more to raise by June 17, 2018 to help 50 kids with clubfoot (thanks to everyone who has helped out so far) .

Recently I realized that if you feel God-approved and if you are self-approved then you won’t feel the need to prove yourself to anyone (I used to feel the need to prove to people that I was so much more than they thought I was thankfully I don’t anymore because I feel like I’m God-approved and I know I’m self-approved).

Day 2579: World Cerebral Palsy Day and Making Lemonade

Cerebral Palsy is a medical condition not my definition – that’s what I want the world to know.

It’s 1: 02 PM on day 2579 of my journey towards independence and I managed to pray, have breakfast, read 2 Thessalonians 1:11-12 and promote my 50 New Feet Campaign benefiting MiracleFeet -raised $3 831 only $8 669 more to raise by June 17, 2018 to help 50 kids with clubfoot (thanks to everyone who has helped out so far) .

Today is World Cerebral Palsy Day – a day to raise awareness about Cerebral Palsy and to celebrate those living with it and their families – life with CP is different in that I have challenges with movement but I am intelligent and I have feelings (Cerebral Palsy affects different people differently but for me it’s mostly a mobility impairment). Happy World Cerebral Palsy Day to all those living with it and their families I humbly ask that you please take your lemons and make lemonade the world is dying of thirst.

Day 2578: What Success Is

Success is liking who you are, what you do and how you do it – that’s what I keep being reminded of.

Today as I looked back on the extraordinary day I had yesterday I was reminded that success is liking who you are, what you do and how you do it (if you can go to bed any day sincerely thinking I did good today then your successful).

Day 2577: Make the Day Extraordinary

It’s 3: 46 PM on day 2577 of my journey towards independence and I managed to pray, read Judges 5:31, promote my 50 New Feet Campaign benefiting MiracleFeet – Yesterday Bev donated $25 and today the African Greek Goddess donated $25 (thanks so much to them both ) which brings the total raised to $3 831 only $8 669 more to raise by June 17, 2018 to help 50 kids with clubfoot – and watch The LEGO Ninjago Movie – the movie was what what it the people i was with made it special :).

Today I realized that all days are ordinary but we can make a day extraordinary by our actions. Be kind. Do good. Make every day extraordinary

Day 2576: Give Hope

Spare no expense to give people hope – that’s my message to the world

It’s 12: 45 PM on day 2576 of my journey towards independence and I managed to pray, read Proverbs 12:25 and promote my 50 New Feet Campaign benefiting MiracleFeet –Anonymous donated $100 (thanks so much Anon ) which brings the total raised to $3 781 only $8 719 more to raise by June 17, 2018 to help 50 kids with clubfoot .

Today I was reminded that hope is as essential to survival as food and water is so even when people don’t see the point in me doing some of the things I do if I think it will give even one person something to aspire to I will continue to do them.

Day 2575: Why Crime Exists

Crime will exist as long as the majority continues to glamorize it – that’s what I’ve realized.

Today I was outraged to find out that a movie has been made about Oscar Pistorious – former South African Paralympian who murdered his girlfriend – why does the world continue to glamorize criminality all of us worldwide should take a stand and decide that while we will continue to strive to remedy the root causes of crime we will not give the criminals or their criminal actions more attention than they deserve

Day 2574: How To Be Fearless

The fear of anything is basically the fear of death or humiliation – that’s what I’ve realized.

Recently I realized that the fear of anything is basically the fear of death or humiliation so if you want to be fearless in life let go of your underlying fear of death and humiliation.

Day 2573: Raising the Consciousness of Our Fellow Human Beings

Our job as humanity is to help increase the consciousness level of our fellow human beings– that’s what I’ve realized.

It’s 1: 03 PM on day 2573 of my journey towards independence and I managed to pray, have breakfast, read 1 John 4:18-19, hang out with family, help out my friends, and promote my 50 New Feet Campaign benefiting MiracleFeet -raised $3 681 only $8 819 more to raise by June 17, 2018 to help 50 kids with clubfoot (thanks to everyone who has helped out so far) .

Yesterday my brother came to me and asked how much does it cost to help 1 kid with clubfoot I answered R3 300 ($250),why to which he replied I want the new Xbox – it costs R4 400 and in that moment I realized that he felt a twinge of guilt and I was so touched and filled with pride because even in his desire for the Xbox he thought about how the money could be better used to help others I saw that and gave him my blessing to ask our parents for the new Xbox (he earned it – he worked really hard in school this term to become 2^nd in the grade out of 120 students).
