My journey from utter helplessness to independence

Day 2683: “The Champion” by Carrie Underwood featuring Ludacris

I am invincible, unbreakable
Unstoppable, unshakeable
They knock me down, I get up again
I am the champion
You’re gonna know my name
You can’t hurt me now
I can’t feel the pain
I was made for this, yeah, I was born to win
I am the champion

– Carrie Underwood featuring Ludacris, “The Champion”

It’s 11 : 57 PM on day 2683 of my journey towards independence and I managed to pray, read  Isaiah 26:3 and promote my 50 New Feet Campaign benefiting MiracleFeet – raised  $6 826 only $5 674 more to raise by June 17, 2018 to help 50 kids with clubfoot.

Recently I heard “The Champion” by Carrie Underwood featuring Ludacris I felt like the song was written about my Superhero Catherine Constantinides she just keeps going no matter what life throws at her it’s amazing she is the champion and my champion which inspires me to be one every day. Listen to “The Champion” by Carrie Underwood featuring Ludacris below:

Day 2682: 50 New Feet Campaign Seven Months Later

Today marks the seven month anniversary of my 50 New Feet Campaign benefiting MiracleFeet  so far 86 people have made donations to this campaign and between us we’ve donated $6 825 – enough to provide clubfoot treatments for 27 kids – I am SO THANKFUL. Day 2681: Inspiration’s Condition

Inspiration definitely comes to you on condition that you’re working while you’re waiting for it to arrive – that’s my message to the world.

It’s 12 : 47 PM on day 2681 of my journey towards independence and I managed to pray, read  Isaiah 41:10 and promote my 50 New Feet Campaign benefiting MiracleFeet – raised  $6 826 only $5 674 more to raise by June 17, 2018 to help 50 kids with clubfoot.

Today I was reminded that inspiration definitely comes to you on condition that you’re working while you’re waiting for it to arrive (some people keep whining about how uninspired they are while they do nothing – well duh inspiration comes to those who work).

Day 2680: The Effects of Time

Time stands still for nobody– that’s what I want the world to know.

It’s 12 : 42 PM on day 2680 of my journey towards independence and I managed to pray, read  Jeremiah 29:11 and promote my 50 New Feet Campaign benefiting MiracleFeet – raised  $6 826 only $5 674 more to raise by June 17, 2018 to help 50 kids with clubfoot.

Yesterday I realized with a tinge of sadness that my parents are growing old at the exact time it feels like my life is just starting which makes things complicated for me because I need a lot of physical help to survive and thrive (I want to travel, meet new people and continue making a difference I don’t know how that’s going to work in this situation it’s nobody’s fault it just is what it is).

Day 2679: Act In Accordance With Your Prayers

May our actions match our prayers– that’s my wish for the world.

It’s 12 : 40 PM on day 2679 of my journey towards independence and I managed to pray, read  Isaiah 43:19, go to church, promote my 50 New Feet Campaign benefiting MiracleFeet – raised  $6 826 only $5 674 more to raise by June 17, 2018 to help 50 kids with clubfoot.

Today I was reminded that it doesn’t help for me to pray to God to help me do the right thing even when it’s hard if I don’t choose to do the right thing when it’s hard.

Day 2678: Life Is

Life is an exercise in collaboration not competition– that’s my message to the world.

It’s 4 : 02 PM on day 2678 of my journey towards independence and I managed to pray, read  Isaiah 43:19, promote my 50 New Feet Campaign benefiting MiracleFeet – raised  $6 816 only $5 684 more to raise by June 17, 2018 to help 50 kids with clubfoot – and go to the mall

Today I was writing a letter to a very special baby and in that letter I said life is an exercise in collaboration not competition until I read back what I wrote I didn’t really know what my life philosophy was.

Day 2677: Carry On

When the world says NO be determined every single day and choose to carry on. Be a very kind bulldog– that’s my message to the world.

It’s 1 : 24 PM on day 2677 of my journey towards independence and I managed to pray, read Psalm 40:3,  have breakfast and promote my 50 New Feet Campaign benefiting MiracleFeet –   A HUGE thanks to  who donated Air To Air Africa Ballooning  who donated $10   which brings the total raised to  $6 826 only $5 674 more to raise by June 17, 2018 to help 50 kids with clubfoot.

Today I realized that if you have the courage and persistence to carry on when the world says no things tend to work out (we often give up to easily in life but if we have the courage to ask when we think people say no and carry on if they do success will be ours)

Day 2676: I Will Never Be Alone

Nobody can leave you because nobody is an extension of you – that’s what I keep being reminded of.

It’s 1 : 18 PM on day 2676 of my journey towards independence and I managed to pray, read  Ephesians 4:22-24 and promote my 50 New Feet Campaign benefiting MiracleFeet – raised  $6 816 only $5 684 more to raise by June 17, 2018 to help 50 kids with clubfoot .

Today I was reminded that nobody can leave me because nobody is an extension of me I will never be alone in this life because I will always have God and I will always have me.

Day 2675: Everything and Everybody I Love 2018

Focus on love– that’s Jodene Shaer’s message to the world.

It’s 1 : 34 PM on day 2675 of my journey towards independence and I managed to pray, read  Isaiah 42:9 and promote my 50 New Feet Campaign benefiting MiracleFeet – raised  $6 816 only $5 684 more to raise by June 17, 2018 to help 50 kids with clubfoot .

Yesterday in a vlog entitled “I Don’t Know Much” Jodene Shaer suggested that instead of making New Year’s Resolutions and To-Do Lists we should make a list of what we love and although I’ll continue to keep my 2018 Goals list I have also decided to list of things I love as per Jodene’s suggestion. Day 2674: Always Be Reaching

Goals are dreams with a deadline – that’s what I know.

It’s 11 : 10 AM on day 2674 of my journey towards independence and I managed to pray, read 2 Corinthians 5:17 and promote my 50 New Feet Campaign benefiting MiracleFeet – raised  $6 816 only $5 684 more to raise by June 17, 2018 to help 50 kids with clubfoot .

Today is day 9 of 2017 and so far I’m actively working on 7 of 22 goals (most of them are things I’m hoping to do every day the whole year) I’m pleased with the progress made so far but not nearly satisfied (I’ll always be grateful for progress made but never content I plan to stay hungry and foolish for the rest of my life – ABR (Always Be Reaching)).
