The little things are the big things – that’s what I keep realizing
This morning as babies laughed, giggled and pushed my wheelchair around I couldn’t help but be grateful to be me, to be there to bear witness to pure joy (I pray my ears and eyes never forget the sounds and sights of today…. truly magical)

It’s 4: 36 PM on day 3210 since I started blogging and I managed to pray, read Bible, spend time outside and work on my 28 For 28 Campaign benefiting charity:water – two people donated $560 we’ve now raised $3 776 of $28 000 with 86 days to go
Today I woke up to find the video Tanmay Bakshi had made in support of my campaign I was so impressed and moved (thank you Tanmay for your amazing support – you are an example of all that’s right with our world)
No matter who’s here or who’s not I will survive – that’s what I’ve realized
Today something happened that made me realize that no matter who’s here or who’s not I will survive and thrive
Appreciate the now– that’s my message to the world
Recently I’ve been reminding myself more and more to appreciate the now because nothing remains the same forever – we’re so busy getting where we want to go we forget the magic in the now
Absence makes the heart grow fonder– that’s what I’ve realized
My parents are back we are all so happy and grateful

Today I was reminded that we can’t choose the labels people give us but we can choose to wear them well – I can’t change that I’m differently-abled but I can be the best representative of differently-abled people everywhere

Yesterday I realized that in a world where more seems like more less is in fact more less things makes room for more love, more humility and more humanity
Adulting is hard – that’s what I’ve realized
Yesterday morning we woke up to realize our phone lines and wi-fi had been cut (June was crazy busy and with their trip to India my parents must have forgotten to pay it – dad paid the bill it was just late) so I spent part of yesterday on the phone with the phone company trying to get them to lift the suspension only to be told “it’s an automated system the suspension will be lifted as soon as the money reflects in our account” I’m frustrated to no end my parents must come back soon this adulting thing is hard
Perspective is everything– that’s what I’ve realized
Today I realized that even with the little things that annoy us our lives are somebody else’s dream. Don’t sweat the small stuff
