Pity wrapped in
kindness is still pity – that’s what I’ve realized.
It’s 3: 08 PM on day 3026 since I started blogging and I managed to pray, read a Bible verse, go to breakfast and do some work
Yesterday we were
playing 30 Seconds with family and after I was done asking with my turn a
family member says maybe for her instead of 30 seconds we could do 45 seconds to which
my sister responded no, 30 seconds are
fine…she’s fine! I LOVED THAT because at least to one person in the room I wasn’t
deserving of pity wrapped in kindness.

gladness of Christmas which is hope; The spirit of Christmas which is peace;
The heart of Christmas which is love.” – Ada V. Hendricks

IS PERFECT. Merry Christmas everyone!
May this Christmas Eve
bring for you the gifts of happiness, good health & joy – that’s my wish for
you.

Christmas Eve
Today is Christmas Eve always a special day but this year it’s
extra special because of the pain I endured earlier this year I’m so grateful
to be alive, pain-free and here with my family. Merry Christmas Eve everyone!
“Jewelry is something that has to do with emotion. That aspect of jewelry really interests me.” -Ann Demeulemeester.
It’s 2: 22 PM on day 3023 since I started blogging and I managed to pray, read a Bible verse, spend time outside doing nothing and everything and do some work
Recently I had the honour of meeting the awesome, talented
and caring Charmaine Taylor – jewellery designer of the Legacy
Collection, the Legacy Collection is truly unique because it consists of jewellery
made from Robben Island’s original prison fence. I LOVE that Charmaine turns
something that was once a symbol of oppression into things of beauty. In many
ways Charmaine and I are very much alike she turns a prison fence into
things of beauty and I am trying to turn my life story which was meant to be a
tragedy into somewhat of a triumph. Check out the extraordinary Legacy
Collection at https://legacycollection.org/legacycollection/
It doesn’t cost much to be kind because the essence of kindness is thoughtfulness – that’s what I’ve realized
It’s 2: 11 PM on day 3019 since I started blogging and I managed to pray, read a Bible verse, spend time with family and do some work
Recently I was reminded that it doesn’t cost much to be kind because the essence of kindness is thoughtfulness and there are many different ways to show someone you think of them without breaking the bank. Be kind the little things mean the most.
Love is the essence of life – that’s what I have realized
It’s 3: 36 PM on day 3018 since I started blogging and I managed to pray, read a Bible verse and do some work
Today I was pleasantly reminded that love is the essence of life – all we want to know is that we are loved beyond reason and all we really want to do is love beyond reason.
A fantastic life is made up of small magical moments– that’s my message to the world
It’s 3: 40 PM on day 3017 since I started blogging and I managed to pray, read a Bible verse and do some work
Last week I set some

Highlights of the Week
Watching my sister graduate as a doctor with distinction and first class honours –it was a spectacular moment for me seeing my baby sister being capped and gowned the moment was made all the more special by her friends who cheered loudly as she walked on stage it warmed my heart to know that my sister is well and truly loved even outside our family
Experiencing the kindness of strangers – while I was with Deirdre and her son Damien (who also has CP ) this kind man named Mark came by us three different times to shower us with blessings and compliments it was truly so sweet and special

Time and life is what you make it – that’s my message to the world
It’s 12: 29 PM on day 3011 since i started blogging and I managed to pray, read bible and do some work
Yesterday I noticed lots of people were complaining about how bad 2018 has been and how they just wanted it to end meanwhile even though I was cut open and in intense pain and even though my gran died I have no gripe with 2018 because it’s another year I’ve been blessed to live, love and add value to the world
Sometimes the greatest acts of kindness are the smallest – that’s my message to the world
Spent the day with family
Today we were at
the mall and this very kind man let us go ahead of him in line for the lift –
he literally pushed his trolley out of the way and told us to go through – it was
the smallest of acts but it meant the world to me because in that moment though
he didn’t know me he put me ahead of him (literally).
Like a house a life too must be designed – that’s what I’ve realized
It’s 10: 57 AM on day 3006 of my journey towards independence and I managed to pray, read a Bible verse and do some work
Recently I realized that like a house a life too must be designed so I made a plan. Take a look;
My Life Design
By age 35 (please God may I still be blessed with life and good health then and may my family still be healthy and happy):
Be more good, kind and honest
Publish one or more of many books
Become financially independent (I had a bit of a moment when my younger sister who starts working next year put me as a beneficiary of one of her policies I thought aww…..how sweet but ouch I don’t want to live on anyone’s generosity forever I know I’m more than capable of making my own money
Visit London, Paris, Rome, Switzerland, Denmark, Kenya and Rwanda (in no particular order) [when i’m old and grey I want to have great memories to remember]
Continue leveling the playing field for the disadvantaged through the work I do with non-profits in South Africa and internationally
Help my Superhero Catherine Constantinides achieve all her dreams and goals
