Empathy– that’s what Cerebral Palsy has taught me
It’s 12 : 00 PM on day 1089 of my journey towards independence and I’ve managed to pray, brush my teeth, read 1 Samuel 23, publish my Disability of the Day feature, feed myself boiled egg and Bran Flakes for breakfast, take off my dirty jacket and t-shirt and put on a clean t-shirt, stretch my hamstrings, practice sitting up straight to strengthen my core muscles and tweet and Facebook about my campaign -nobody donated so far today.
This morning I realized Cerebral Palsy has taught me empathy when people are annoyed or short with me I think they must be really stressed out I try to put myself in other people’s shoes because they often don’t put themselves in my shoes. Do you have a lot more empathy for others because of the stuff you go through?
That’s an interesting post!
Though, I wish u would change the design of your blog to how it was earlier. It was much easier to access it back then……
Thanks
Will think about changing the theme. Thank you for the suggestion
