Day 3152: Vision and Values

Decide who you are and stick with it– that’s my message to the world

It’s 12: 07 PM on day 3152 since I started blogging and I managed to pray, read a Bible verse and work on my 28 For 28 Campaign benefiting charity:water  – we’ve now raised $2 598 of $28 000 with 54 days to go

Today I was reminded by life that it is in the toughest circumstances that it is most important to hold on to one’s vision for the world and personal values.

Day 2663: My Vision for the Future

“Fight against something and we focus on the thing we hate. Fight for something and we focus on the thing we love. “ – Simon Sinek

It’s 1 : 42 PM on day 2663 of my journey towards independence and I managed to pray, read Ezekiel 34:12,  have breakfast and promote my 50 New Feet Campaign benefiting MiracleFeet – raised  $6 166 only $6 334 more to raise by June 17, 2018 to help 50 kids with clubfoot .

Yesterday someone asked a question which made me realize that people in my life, though they truly love me, expect me to be an object of someone’s care for the rest of my life which is not going to happen EVER instead I’m going to find a way to be financial independent (in an ethical and moral way) and that financial independence is going to afford me the luxury of hiring more people to help me out physically and with the help of those people I will travel the world, meet new people and continue making a difference …I already have an extraordinary present but it pales in comparison to what the future holds I KNOW IT because I am the BEST  and DESERVE NOTHING LESS of course it goes without saying that I have to continue working really hard which I am more than willing to do.

Day 495

When you have a vision you can take steps to move towards it – that’s what I learned today 🙂

It’s 6: 41 PM on day 495 of my journey towards independence and I’ve managed to brush my teeth, work, feed myself an egg sandwich for breakfast, drink water by myself, work some more, prepare and publish my Disability of the Day feature and continue working only stopping to make sandwiches for Virginia’s Sandwich Run.

Today while I was helping myself in the bathroom I finally figured out what I wanted out of life – I always knew I wanted something I just didn’t know what it was – I want to be independent in every way and not be a burden on anyone when you’re born “disabled” it’s almost like – at least for me – most people don’t expect you to participate in life – get a job, pay your own bills, buy your own house, etc – and although it makes me sad I plan on raising above society’s lack of expectation by doing everything a contributing member of society does. Do you have a vision for your life?
