Day 3073: The Evolution of my Definition of Success

Our definition of success changes over time – that’s what I have realized

It’s 12: 49 PM on day 3073 since I started blogging and I managed to pray, read a Bible verse and do some work

Today I was thinking of my definition of success and how it has evolved over time before my success was all about me and only about me now in order for me to consider myself truly successful I have to help others reach their dreams and goals while simultaneously reaching my own

Day 2977: Be Obsessed with Helping Others Succeed

Pick a few people in this life whose values match yours and be absolutely obsessed with helping them make their dreams come true– that’s my message to the world

It’s 2: 18 PM on day 2977 of my journey towards independence and I managed to pray, read a Bible verse  and do some work

Today I realized that my success would be incomplete if I don’t help others succeed if I get to the end of my life having achieved all that I wanted to while my family, friends, country and community remained in the same place I would feel like I failed and so I work to help others succeed as hard as I work to succeed. If you want to go fast, go alone. “If you want to go far, go together. ” -AFRICAN PROVERB

Day 2578: What Success Is

Success is liking who you are, what you do and how you do it   – that’s what I keep being reminded of.

It’s 1: 07 PM on day 2578 of my journey towards independence and I managed to pray,  have breakfast, read Zechariah 8:16  and promote my 50 New Feet Campaign benefiting MiracleFeet -raised $3 831 only $8 669 more to raise by June 17, 2018 to help 50 kids with clubfoot (thanks to everyone who has helped out so far) .

Today as I looked back on the extraordinary day I had yesterday I was reminded that success is liking who you are, what you do and how you do it (if you can go to bed any day sincerely thinking I did good today then your successful).

Day 2472: Be the Human Ladder

“The best way to happiness is to invest in the happiness of others.” – Andy Mashaile

It’s 12 : 29  PM on day 2472 of my journey towards independence and I managed to pray, read 1 Corinthians 16: 13 have breakfast, learn a new word – Vexatious adj. 1. Full of annoyance or distress; harassed. 2. Causing or creating vexation; annoying. “Her ex-husband put her in a vexatious situation.” and promote my 50 New Feet Campaign benefiting MiracleFeet – raised $410 only $12 090 more to raise in 361 days to help 50 kids with clubfoot (it won’t be easy but we can do this i know it).

This morning I realized that although it’s great to have personal success it’s even greater to create and unlock opportunities for others to succeed I’m so happy to be the human ladder on which people climb to reach their dreams.

Day 1871: Success and Preparation

Your success is directly proportional to how much you prepare and how hard you work – that’s what I want the world to know.

It’s  12 :  14  PM on day 1871 of my journey towards independence and I’ve managed to brush my teeth, pray,  read Acts 16, publish my Disability of the Day feature, learn one new thing –Cultivation of pears started 1134 years BC in China.- have breakfast and work on my potential future project.

Today I was thinking about success and preparation all the successful people in the world worked their butts off way before anybody noticed them which is something I wish some people in my generation would understand there is no such thing as instant success it’s years of preparation, hard work and perseverance.

Day 1803: The Work That Goes Into Success

“When people say they’d like to be in your shoes, it’s usually after the difficult journey is finished.” – Tim Fargo

It’s 12 : 44 PM on day 1803  of my journey towards independence and I’ve managed to brush my teeth,  pray, read Mark 9,    publish my Disability of the Day feature,    learn one new thing –   Ignominious [ig·no·min·i·ous] adj. Deserving or causing public disgrace or shame; humiliating: “An ignominious defeat.” – have breakfast and  promote my Educate Generations campaign – $4 601 raised so far (thanks everyone   :) ).

Yesterday I was listening to an interesting panel discussion about gender equality on the radio and I heard Ramona Kasavan (one of the panellists on the show) say entrepreneurship is not as sexy as people make it seem on social media I think that’s true for philanthropy as well people always say I want to change the world but most don’t know how much planning and work actually goes into it until recently I was my own goal setter, graphic designer and marketing person thankfully now my friend,  Pamela Eapen, helps me out with graphic design whenever I need help (thanks Pam I love you lots dude).

Day 1745: Success, Failure and Work

How successful you are is directly proportional to how hard you work – that’s what I realized yesterday.

It’s 12 : 25 PM on day 1745 of my journey towards independence and I’ve managed to brush my teeth, pray,  read Habakkuk 3, publish my Disability of the Day feature,    learn one new thing – With an area of 40,852 square miles, Cuba is the largest island in the Caribbean. The island is mostly flat, with the Sierra Maestra Mountains anchoring the southeast.–    feed myself egg with bread  for breakfast, promote my Educate Generations campaign – $3 145 raised so far so grateful  – and hang out with my sister.

Yesterday evening  seeing me work someone I love said to me you’re always playing on the laptop morning, noon and night I said nothing and continued working I know that how successful I will be is directly proportional to how hard I work.

Day 1594: Believe

To achieve you must first believe – that’s what I keep realizing.

It’s 12 : 05 PM on day 1594 of my journey towards independence and I’ve managed to brush my teeth,  pray,  read Jeremiah 11, publish my Disability of the Day feature, chat to my family in India via Skype,  learn one new thing – A palindrome number is one that reads the same backwards and forwards–  feed myself egg with bread for breakfast and  promote my Educate Generations campaign– still on $1 630 but I’m grateful to be this far so far 🙂

Today I realized yet again that to achieve you must first believe it doesn’t matter how intelligent or able you are if you don’t believe you will succeed you’re dead in the water.  Do you believe you will succeed?

Day 1576: The decision to succeed

Once you decide to succeed with God working through you nothing can stand in your way – that’s what I realized today.

It’s 12 : 00 PM on day 1576 of my journey towards independence and I’ve managed to stretch my hamstrings – it hurt quite a bit because I hadn’t exercised in a few weeks I tend to slack off during the holidays – brush my teeth,  pray,  read Isaiah 61, publish my Disability of the Day feature, learn one new thing – did you know that the first website was created on August 6, 1991 –  feed myself egg curry with bread for breakfast and promote my Educate Generations campaign– still on $1 335 and still grateful 🙂

Today I realized that once you decide to succeed with God working through you nothing can stand in your way when I really set my mind and heart to something I won’t stop till I achieve it no matter how hard things get or how long it takes.Have you made the decision to succeed with God working through you?

Day 1492: Are you putting in the hard work required to become successful?

Success is the result of days of hard work – that’s what I keep realizing.

It’s 2 : 07 PM on day 1492 of my journey towards independence and I’ve managed to brush my teeth, pray, read Proverbs 30, publish my Disability of the Day feature, stretch my hamstrings,  feed myself egg with bread and a banana for breakfast and promote my Educate Generations campaign – today has been a very good day so far first my friend, Sue Levy, wrote a great post about the Educate Generations campaign titled Please support Nisha and then Anonymous donated $20 (thank you Sue and Anonymous I appreciate your support more than you’ll ever know).

Today I realized yet again that success is the result of days of hard work some days I work extremely hard on things and I have nothing to show for it but I get up and try again the next day because I know that my hard work will produce results one day. Are you putting in the hard work required to become successful?
