Day 2507: Big Risks and Big Rewards

Big risk often equals big reward – that’s my message to the world.

It’s 10 : 51 AM on day 2507 of my journey towards independence and I managed to pray,  have breakfast, read Revelation 5:12  and promote my 50 New Feet Campaign benefiting MiracleFeet –   Yesterday  my uncle Koshy and Anonymous both made donations  (thanks so much again to them ) which brings the total raised to $2 555  only $9 945 more to raise  by June 17, 2018 to help 50 kids with clubfoot.

Yesterday I was reminded that big risk often equals big reward I believe we as people would reach new heights of achievement if we weren’t so scared of failure and rejection because to truly fly in life you’ve got to be willing to possibly flop.

Day 2197: Risks and Life

The biggest risk of all is not taking any – that’s my message to the world.

It’s 9 : 11  AM on day 2197 of my journey towards independence and I managed to have breakfast, pray, read Ezekiel 18: 32   and work on my  25 Smiles Campaign    –raised $7 675 only  $4 825 more to raise to reach my second goal of raising $12 500 for Smile Train before Jan 10 2017 (SO SO SO GRATEFUL to everyone who has supported this campaign so far ).

Today I realized that if I live instead of merely existing my life will be risky and I’ve made my peace with that because I know that the biggest risk of all is not taking any.

Day 1282: Life and Taking Calculated Risks

“Life is a series of calculated risks, James. I happen to think that this one is worth it.” ― Lish McBrideNecromancing the Stone

It’s 12  : 46  PM on day 1282 of my journey towards independence and I’ve managed to  pray,   brush my teeth, read Job 16,  feed myself All Bran Flakes for breakfast, publish my Disability of the Day feature   and  promote my Eradicate AIDS campaign –no luck yet – practice sitting up straight to strengthen my core muscles and stretch my hamstrings.

For a few years now the people in my life have been telling me to do something way out of my comfort zone and yesterday I finally decided to take their advice so if all goes well in a few days I will be stepping into a new career it could blow up in my face (please God don’t let that be) or it may be the key to my financial independence either way we’ll have to wait and see. Do you take calculated risks or always do what you think is safest?
