Day 2572: God is conspiring for me to succeed

The thoughts we hold in our minds become our realities– that’s what I’ve realized.

It’s 9: 13 AM on day 2572 of my journey towards independence and I managed to pray, read Proverbs 12:25 and promote my 50 New Feet Campaign benefiting MiracleFeet – Yesterday Alex Forshaw of My Autistic Dance donated $25 and Russell Williams donated $100 (thanks so much to them both ) which brings the total raised to $3 681 only $8 819 more to raise by June 17, 2018 to help 50 kids with clubfoot .

Recently I realized that the thoughts we hold in our minds become our realities so I started thinking God is conspiring for me to succeed instantly I felt happier and slowly things started turning in my favour it’s one of the most fantastic things I’ve ever experienced which is why I have decided to hold that thought in my mind forevermore.

Day 2299: When Fears Come True

Your worst fears can come true and you’ll still survive – that’s what I realized.

It’s 12: 45 PM on day 2299 of my journey towards independence and I managed to -pray, read Psalm 119:165 and work on my 25 Smiles Campaign – yesterday Benedict Joson donated $25 (thanks Ben 🙂 ) which brings the total raised to $9 625.04 only $2 874.96 more to raise to reach my second goal of raising $12 500 for Smile Train before Jan 10 2017 (SO SO SO GRATEFUL to everyone who has supported this campaign so far ).

Yesterday I was gently informed that I had become a third wheel in someone’s life needless to say I was mortified but my worst fear of being a third wheel came true and I was still alive and kicking.

Day 2277: Imagination Vs. Reality

Things tend to be worse in our imaginations than they actually are in reality– that’s what I’ve realized.

It’s 11: 15 AM on day 2277 of my journey towards independence and I managed to pray, read Titus 3:4-7 and work on my 25 Smiles Campaign – yesterday Sherilchechi donated $25 (thanks SO MUCHc chechi) which brings the total raised to $9186.04 only $3 313.96 more to raise to reach my second goal of raising $12 500 for Smile Train before Jan 10 2017 (SO SO SO GRATEFUL to everyone who has supported this campaign so far ).

Last night was the first night without mom and actually things were not so bad because sisi Amanda helped me with everything before she left (God bless Amanda she arrived at 8 AM yesterday and only asked us to drop her home at 7 pm because she knows that until my sister comes back on Saturday evening only she is around to help me with female things).

Day 1664: Life, Perception and Reality

Perception is reality – that’s one of the greatest lessons I’ve learned in my life.

It’s 12 : 39 PM on day 1664 of my journey towards independence and I’ve managed to brush my teeth, pray, read Ezekiel 24, publish my Disability of the Day feature, feature, learn one new thing – Male kangaroos are called boomers, bucks or jacks; females are does, flyers, or jills, and the young ones are joeys. – promote my Educate Generations campaign– $2 578 raised so far – feed myself batura and vegetable curry for breakfast and hang with family.

This morning I thought if I had one wish it would be to go to the bathroom without making a spectacle of myself then I thought about women being raped and children living in warzones and I realized even though my life is hard I had nothing to complain about.
