Day 2110: My Real Greatest Fear

“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our Light, not our Darkness, that most frightens us.” – Marianne Williamson

It’s 12 : 07  PM on day 2110 of my journey towards independence and I managed to pray, read Deuteronomy 31:6, have breakfast, learn one new thing – According to botanists (those who study plants) a fruit is the part of the plant that develops from a flower. It’s also the section of the plant that contains the seeds. The other parts of plants are considered vegetables. These include the stems, leaves and roots — and even the flower bud.-and work on my  25 Smiles Campaign    – raised $5 910 only $340 more to raise before Jan 10 2017 (SO SO SO GRATEFUL to everyone who has supported this campaign so far 🙂 ).

Last night I realized that how great I could be scares me more than failure and utter humiliation does.

Day 1636: Do you aspire to be great or famous?

Aspire to be great not famous – that’s my message to the world.

It’s 12 :  03 PM on day 1636 of my journey towards independence and I’ve managed to brush my teeth,   pray,  read Lamentations 1, publish my Disability of the Day feature, feed myself egg with bread  for breakfast, learn one new thing – The official color of the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco is “International Orange.”–  promote my  Educate Generations campaign–  59 donations totalling $2 124 have been made so far – watch the South Africa vs. Pakistan cricket World Cup match – SA lost I so hate losing but I still support my team 🙂 – and continue promoting the campaign – $2 124 raised so far.

Today I realized that although I appreciate being written about what really matters to me is making a difference I aspire to greatness not fame because I know that I will be the same person whether a hundred people know my name or one person knows my name.  Do you aspire to be great or famous?

Day 1162: Money + Fame = Greatness?

Money and fame does not equate to greatness – that’s what I wish the world would understand.

It’s 12  : 00 PM on day 1162 of my journey towards independence and I’ve managed to brush my teeth,  pray,  read  2 Kings 19 and 2 Kings 20,  publish my Disability of the Day feature,  stretch my hamstrings,    practice sitting up straight to strengthen my core muscles,  feed myself  boiled egg and All Bran Flakes for breakfast and hang out with my sister

Today I was thinking about this celebrity obsessed culture we live in there are people out there  who are famous just for being famous while people doing extraordinary things with their lives hardly get any attention at all I have nothing against celebrities but if you’re famous at least be famous for doing something.  Do you equate money and fame to greatness?
