Day 2783: Focus on What You Love

What you focus on expends – that’s what I was reminded today.

It’s 12 : 22 PM on day 2783 of my journey towards independence and I managed to  spend time with my parents, pray, read Proverbs 13:12,  have breakfast and promote my 50 New Feet Campaign benefiting MiracleFeet –  raised  $14 409 only $4 341 more to raise by June 17, 2018 to reach my new goal of helping 75 kids with Clubfoot by June 17, 2018.

Today while I was doing something I loved all the things I would probably never have were not in my head I guess what I focus on expends while the rest of everything just shrinks.

Day 2209: Focus on What You Can Control

Focus on the things you can control and let go of the things you can’t – that’s what I keep learning.

It’s 10 : 14  AM on day 2209 of my journey towards independence and I managed to have breakfast, pray, read Luke 6:35 and work on my  25 Smiles Campaign    –raised $7 675 only  $4 825 more to raise to reach my second goal of raising $12 500 for Smile Train before Jan 10 2017 (SO SO SO GRATEFUL to everyone who has supported this campaign so far ).

Today I was reminded that I should focus on the things I can can control and let go of the things I can’t because really stressing about things outside of our circle of influence is pointless.

Day 2169: Focus and Miracles

What we focus on is EVERYTHING  – that’s what I keep realizing.

It’s 12 : 41  PM on day 2169 of my journey towards independence and I managed to pray, have breakfast, read James 2: 17, learn one new thing – Crabs that have lost legs can regenerate them over time. The leg breaks off at a special joint. Before molting, a new limb bud, with all the remaining leg segments, grows out of the joint. After molting, the new leg is smaller than the others. –   and work on my  25 Smiles Campaign    –   raised $7 225 only  $5 275 more to raise to reach my second goal of raising $12 500 for Smile Train before Jan 10 2017 (SO SO SO GRATEFUL to everyone who has supported this campaign so far ) .

Recently with the bunch of infections I’ve had I was finding it hard to be grateful but I keep realizing what we focus on is EVERYTHING when we live as though everything is a miracle things start going in our favour.

Day 1543: Obsession or Focus and Passion?

You have to be a little obsessed with the things you do to succeed in life– that’s what I realized today.

It’s 12 : 14 PM on day 1543 of my journey towards independence and I’ve managed to brush my teeth, pray, read Isaiah 28,   publish my Disability of the Day feature, stretch my hamstrings,  promote my Educate Generations campaign– on $1 070  – feed myself egg with bread and bananas for breakfast, watch Adorable 3 year old is very happy to dance! – it’s a super adorable and funny video and continue promoting my campaign – still on $1 070 but I’m grateful to be this far and working hard to reach goal 🙂

Today I realized you have to be a little obsessed with the things you do to succeed in life when I set my mind to achieving a goal I eat, sleep and breath it some people call it obsession I call it focus and passion. Does your passion border on obsession?

Day 1266: Stay Focused

If you want to reach your goals you have to stay focused– that’s what I realized yesterday.

It’s 12  : 05 PM on day 1266 of my journey towards independence and I’ve managed to  brush my teeth, pray,   read Esther 10, publish my Disability of the Day feature, publish my Kid of the Week feature,   feed myself All Bran Flakes for breakfast, promote my Eradicate AIDS campaign – nobody donated so far today either but if I stop caring there will be one less person who does so I’m going to continue trying to make a difference.

Last night I found myself regretting the fact that I spent almost the whole day watching the South Africa versus Australia test match when I could have been reading or doing something else more constructive I realized if I wanted to reach my goals I had to stay focused. Do you waste all your time then wonder why you never reach your goals?
