Day 2751: Spend Time Wisely

Your time is your most valuable asset choose to give it to those who matter to you– that’s my message to the world.

It’s 2 : 34  PM on day 2751 of my journey towards independence and I managed to pray, read Acts 3:19, promote my 50 New Feet Campaign benefiting MiracleFeet – A HUGE thanks to MyPaperParties who donated $100 which brings the total raised to  $13 334 only $5 415 more to raise by June 17, 2018 to reach my new goal of helping 75 kids with Clubfoot by June 17, 2018 – and have lunch.

This afternoon as I was having lunch with my mom it dawned on me how special it was that we have lunch  together almost every afternoon I often wait for mom to get back from work so we can have lunch together because I know how truly fortunate I am that my parents are still around to have lunch with. Time is valuable spend it wisely.

Day 2710: Proud Moment

Kids grow up when we are not looking– that’s what I realized today.

It’s 1 : 09 PM on day 2710 of my journey towards independence and I managed to pray, read 1 Corinthians 13:4, read my brother’s project and promote my 50 New Feet Campaign benefiting MiracleFeet – raised  $7 481 only $5 019 more to raise by June 17, 2018 to help 50 kids with clubfoot (thanks so much to everyone who has helped out so far).

This morning I was reading my Life Orientation project  and I came across this nugget of wisdom  I feel if I don’t respect those who don’t respect me I will feel as if I am on the same level as them which is something I don’t want as this will deter me  from my path of trying to build a positive relationship the boy is only seventeen and the fact that he already knows that absolutely BLEW MY MIND, made me SO PROUD and made me wonder how I missed the fact that he has grown up.

Day 2706: Happy Birthday Daddy

Today is my father’s birthday and although I know that public declarations of affections make him uncomfortable life is short and without him I literally wouldn’t be here so I’m going to make him uncomfortable just for today.  Happy birthday daddy thank you for teaching me that there is magic in small acts of kindness. Your desire to empower inspires – I LOVE LOVE LOVE that you cannot turn anybody in need away I’m me because of the way you choose to live (I still remember a gardener showing up at our gate one morning and even though there was nothing for him to do you invented things for him to do just so he wouldn’t starve that day and you didn’t want to just give him the money because you wanted to give him the dignity of earning his wage [ as long as I live I will never ever forget that morning it touched my heart in such a profound way]).

I miss you every day ammachi but I’m okay and forever will be okay thank you so much for all your prayers they were answered just not in the way you hoped.

Day 2442: My Secret Heartbreak

The feelings you’re brave enough to feel will never devour you– that’s what I have realized.

It’s 11: 36 AM on day 2442 of my journey towards independence and I managed to pray, read Romans 5: 5,   have breakfast and learn a new word – Definitions for ultracrepidarian 1.
noting or pertaining to a person who criticizes, judges, or gives advice outside the area of his or her expertise: The play provides a classic, simplistic portrayal of an ultracrepidarian mother-in-law. 2. an ultracrepidarian person.

Recently I found myself having to admit to myself that I feel the need to do all these crazy things (ziplining, paragliding, etc) because I probably will never do the one thing I would love to do which is become a mother someday I have always pictured a happy life with an imperfect life partner and a bunch of little ones which is medically possible for me (I think) but even if I was able to find a special person who could see past my body and into my soul I want the best for any kids I may have I want to run after them and tumble in the grass, I want to throw them up in the air and know that my reflexes will be quick enough to catch them…I want for any kids I may have a better mother than I know I can ever be so although it breaks my heart even if things worked out in such a way that I could have kids I’m 75% sure I would choose not to.
