Day 2224: God Is Not Just In Church

God is in you, in your actions and in your words not just in church – that’s my message to the world.

It’s 10 : 56  AM on day 2224 of my journey towards independence and I managed to pray, read Haggai 2:6-7, have breakfast, learn one new thing – Efficacious [ef·fi·ca·cious] adj. Successful in producing a desired or intended result; effective. “Efficacious treatment for the disease.”– and work on my  25 Smiles Campaign    –raised $8 011.04 only  $4 488.96 more to raise to reach my second goal of raising $12 500 for Smile Train before Jan 10 2017 (SO SO SO GRATEFUL to everyone who has supported this campaign so far ).

This morning I was thinking about my younger days when I had to go to church to feel like a Christian and to feel the presence of God which is in stark contrast to the way I feel today now I understand that God is in me, in my words and in my actions. God meets me wherever I am and accepts me just as I am.

Day 1953: “Inward Transformation”

Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.

– Romans 12: 2

It’s 12 : 12 PM on day 1953 of my journey towards independence and I managed to pray, read Galatians 6, learn one new thing –A nanosecond (ns) is an SI unit of time equal to one billionth of a second (10−9 or 1/1,000,000,000 s). One nanosecond is to one second as one second is to 31.71 years. The word nanosecond is formed by the prefix nano and the unit second. Its symbol is ns.– have breakfast, spend time outside  and work on my  25 Smiles Campaign – $1 080 raised so far (SO GRATEFUL:)) .

Two days ago we had the privilege of listening to a sermon titled “Inward Transformation” during the sermon Reverend Howarth talked about how the way we live our lives should be a continuation of our worship in church and how we should examine the ways of the world against the ways of Jesus and strive to be more like Jesus … in short the sermon taught us that we should be in the world but not of the world.

Day 1920: Traditions in the church

India is big on traditions and customs – that’s what I keep learning.

It’s 11 :  16 AM on day 1824 of my journey towards independence and day 16 of our India trip 2015 went to the organized in memory of my late grandmother at St. Steven’s Orthodox Church – the service was 2 hours long most of what was said went over my head but I think it’s lovely that people pray for those who have passed and besides the church is absolutely beautiful –  and had breakfast.

This morning we went to a church service that was organized in memory of my late grandmother when she was alive she organized the same church service for my grandfather and those who had gone before her and we’ll probably do the same thing for our parents india is big on passing customs and traditions down from one generation to the next.

Day 279

Each one of us are God’s representatives – that’s what I learned today 🙂

It’s 7: 50 PM on day 279 of my journey towards independence and I’ve managed to brush my teeth, go to church – the sermon was entitled The Spirit of Truth and was all about how you can’t walk in God’s light if you’re dishonest – feed myself an egg sandwich for breakfast, publish my Kid of the Week feature, feed myself French fries for lunch, read The Importance of Value by Veronica (@VeronicaSchultz)– a blog post about the fact that you can change your reality just by changing what you say to yourself – and The Big Bad Baby Post by Katy (@birdonthestreet) – a blog post about two two new lives that have recently entered our world 🙂 –   tweet about my Clean Water For All Campaign – no luck– feed myself rice and curry  for dinner and brush my teeth once more.

I woke up today having made up my mind that I wouldn’t wish my father a happy father’s day because quite frankly I didn’t think he deserved it but after hearing 8 Philip said, “Lord, show us the Father and that will be enough for us.” 9 Jesus answered: “Don’t you know me, Philip, even after I have been among you such a long time? Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father. How can you say, ‘Show us the Father’? 10 Don’t you believe that I am in the Father, and that the Father is in me? The words I say to you I do not speak on my own authority. Rather, it is the Father, living in me, who is doing his work. 11 Believe me when I say that I am in the Father and the Father is in me; or at least believe on the evidence of the works themselves.– John 14: 8-11 – I realized that I should be the bigger person and wished him a happy father’s day as soon as I got back from church. Are you a good representative of God?
