Day 2587: “Can’t doesn’t fit in the dictionary”

Can’t doesn’t fit in the dictionary.” – Gerda Bence

It’s 12 : 18  PM on day 2587 of my journey towards independence and I managed to pray,  read 2 Samuel 22:29 and promote my 50 New Feet Campaign benefiting MiracleFeet -raised $4 337 only $8 163 more to raise by June 17, 2018 to help 50 kids with clubfoot (thanks to everyone who has helped out so far) .

Yesterday I was at physiotherapy appointment exercising my core muscles and I said to her  (feeling a bit sorry for myself) I can’t sit without raising my arms [for balance] to which she said  “can’t” doesn’t fit in the dictionary and that was that I did what she asked in almost complete silence because I was so touched that even after all these years she was still trying to teach me  to believe in myself (I shudder to think where my life would me without her who has always refused to let me squander my potential). Thank you Gerda I LOVE YOU (sometimes you’re a pain but you’re the kind of pain that reminds me that my life and my potential matters and so I will be keeping you around forever and a day)
