Day 3167: “Chapters” by Brett Young

Truth is that we all got stories
Gotta fail on your way to glory
Takes time tryna get it right
But every future has a past
And right now I can hear God laughin’
Guess he must have heard my plans
And my hopes, thought it was a joke
Gave me more than I could ask

Brett Young, “Chapters”

Day 2446: “Would You Wait For Me” by Brett Young

Would you wait for me

When I got to leave

Could I ever be

Everything you need

If I promise you my love

Could that promise be in love

Would you wait for me

Would you wait for me

Brett Young, “Would You Wait For Me”

It’s 11 : 09 AM on day 2446 of my journey towards independence and I managed to pray,   have breakfast, read Proverbs 23:25 and learn a new word – Definitions for backronym
1. an existing word turned into an acronym by creating an apt phrase whose initial letters match the word, as to help remember it or offer a theory of its origin. For example, rap has been said to be a backronym of “rhythm and poetry.”
