Day 3061: Be a Blessing

There is no greater blessing than that of being a blessing– that’s what I’ve realized

It’s 2: 46 PM on day 3061 since I started blogging and I managed to pray, read a Bible verse, spend time outside and do some work

Today I was reminded that there is no greater blessing than that of being a blessing truly we are defined by our deeds not our worldly possessions.

Day 2944: I LOVE my Gap-Teeth

The things you dislike about yourself maybe your saving graces – that’s my message to the world.

It’s 3: 35 PM on day 2944 of my journey towards independence and I managed to pray  read a Bible verse  and spend time with family and friends.

On Monday I went to my dentist and found out I have no cavities which made me so happy but the reason for my lack of cavities shocked me it turns out because I have large gaps between all my teeth I’m able to brush between each one properly and all this time I hated the gaps between my teeth just goes to show the things you dislike about yourself maybe your saving graces.

Day 2636: The Blessing That Was Once A Curse

What is now seen as a curse may later be seen as a blessing – that’s what I’ve realized.

It’s 11 : 44  AM on day 2636 of my journey towards independence and I managed to pray,  read 1 Samuel 12: 24 and promote my 50 New Feet Campaign benefiting MiracleFeet – A HUGE thanks to  Anonymous and Anisha Sunker  who donated $25  each yesterday  which brings the total raised to  $4 876 only $7 624 more to raise by June 17, 2018 to help 50 kids with clubfoot.

Today I realized that what is now seen as a curse may later be seen as a blessing I was once the one overlooked and the one who most people thought would not make something of herself but now my parents are quite literally known all three of their children it’s so much fun for me to see how happy my mother is about how my life is turning out she saves every newspaper article, every video and every audio about my work  and shares them with EVERYONE almost as if to say see world, you were totally wrong about my daughter .

Day 2076: Blessings and Lessons

Some people come into your life as blessings while others come into your life as lessons – that’s what I’ve realized.

It’s 12 : 23  PM on day 2076 of my journey towards independence and I managed to pray, read Ecclesiastes 3 1-8,  learn one new thing – Salting, especially of meat, is an ancient preservation technique. The salt draws out moisture and creates an environment inhospitable to bacteria. If salted in cold weather (so that the meat does not spoil while the salt has time to take effect), salted meat can last for years. – have breakfast and work on my  25 Smiles Campaign   – raised $5 774 only $476 more to raise before Jan 10 2017 (SO SO SO GRATEFUL to everyone who has supported this campaign so far 🙂 ).

Today I realized that some people come into your life as blessings while others come into your life as lessons and not everyone who is in your life now is meant to stay forever.

Day 230

The more you praise and celebrate your life, the more there is in life to celebrate. – Oprah Winfrey

It’s 7: 48 PM on day 230 of my journey towards independence and I’ve managed to brush my teeth, feed myself baked beans on toast for breakfast, put the finishing touches on this week’s edition of Kid of the Week and publish it only stopping to feed myself rice and curry for lunch, tweet about my Clean Water For All Campaign – no luck – watch the movie It’s Complicated starting Meryl Streep, Alec Baldwin and Steve Martin – it was about a divorced couple having an extramarital affair after Jack – the ex-husband (played by Alec Baldwin) – gets remarried to a much younger woman – it was refreshing in that the ending was totally unexpected I would recommend it to anyone who likes romantic comedies with a twist –tweet about my campaign some more – still no luck 🙁 – and feed myself grilled chicken for dinner

Today as my mother washing my bloodied pants she said God will bless you and without hesitation I responded I am already blessed and that’s when I realized that the fact that I could see myself as blessed was a blessing in itself. Do you praise the life you have or long for the life you could have had?
