Day 2369: My Birthday Month Gratitude Project

“Gratitude is a currency that we can mint for ourselves, and spend without fear of bankruptcy.” – Fred De Witt Van Amburgh

It’s 11 : 20 AM on day 2369 of my journey towards independence and I managed to pray, have breakfast, read Ephesians John 1: 16 and learn a new word – Definitions for stravage 1.Scot., Irish, and North England. to wander aimlessly. 2. to saunter; stroll.

A few days ago I decided that in honour of my birthday month I would contact everybody who’s had an impact on my life so far just to say thank you it’s been remarkable to see just how much simple expressions of gratitude mean to people (being kind and seeing the impact of my attempts at kindness makes me feel high on life truly there’s no better feeling in the world than knowing you made someone else feel good about who they are and whatever it is that they do).

Day 1630: My Birthday Month, Girls Education and How YOU can help

The best way to show your appreciation for the life you’ve been given is to give back – that’s what I have realized.

It’s 12 : 21 PM on day 1630 of my journey towards independence and I’ve managed to brush my teeth, pray,    read Jeremiah 47, publish my Disability of the Day feature, publish my Kid of the Week feature, learn one new thing –  A praying mantis has one ear  –   publish my birthday month video (watch it at the bottom of this post),    feed myself egg with bread  for breakfast, chat to family on Skype  and  promote my Educate Generations campaign – $2 050 raised so far I’m SO GRATEFUL 🙂

As you may or may not know on March 25th I turn 24 and in honour of that I’m asking everyone to donate $24 or more to Educate Generations during the month of March and use #Nisha24 to spread the word about it on social media. For more information about Educate Generations or to make a donation please visit  https://www.classy.org/EducateGenerations.
