We arrived in Cape Town by flight to find that the accommodation we booked months prior was not wheelchair accessible as stated on the website so we stayed at the beautiful Double Tree by Hilton

Attended my sister’s med school graduation – i was so proud when I heard With distinction and first- class honours Neethu-Benny Varghese i‘ll never forget the pride I felt seeing her graduate and thr joy i felt hearing her classmates cheer for her loudly s she graduated.
December 15
Met Deidre Gower, Founder of Warrior on Wheels and mom to Damien who also happens to have CP – while we hanging out a stranger [who we later found out was named Mark] came to Damien and I three times told us how beautiful we were and wishing us God’s blessings it was so appreciated. Also met Charmaine Taylor – the fantastic designer behind the Legacy Collection- a collection of jewelry made from Robben Island’s original fence -i love people who turn pain into beauty . Charmaine’s cool
