It’s 12 : 32 PM on day 2670 of my journey towards independence and I managed to pray, read Lamentations 3:22-23 and promote my 50 New Feet Campaign benefiting MiracleFeet – raised $6 816 only $5 684 more to raise by June 17, 2018 to help 50 kids with clubfoot .
This morning Matrics (12th graders in South Africa ) found out their final examination results some did well while others have an opportunity to try again this year but to all I say in the end it’s not your report that defines but rather the person you choose to be from this day on. Be in this world the kind of human you want to see and while some people will treat you badly as you go through life remember that freedom is what you do with what has been done to you. Congratulations to the Class of 2017 I’m so very proud of all of you.
This week in Australia the International Baccalaureate students had their results. I believe South Africans have theirs in July when they take that qualification.
“It’s the person you choose to be from this time forward … freedom is what you do with what has been done to you”. The second part of that quote has resonated in the pst four years for me.
