My mindset is limitless but my body is not – that’s what I have realized.
It’s 11 : 19 AM on day 2431 of my journey towards independence and I managed to pray,read 2 Corinthians 9: 8 have breakfast and learn a new word – Definitions for saudade
(in Portuguese folk culture) a deep emotional state of melancholic longing for a person or thing that is absent: the theme of saudade in literature and music.
Yesterday I realized that my mindset is limitless but my body is not which is incredibly frustrating I know that I, as a person, can do anything but since some of the parts of my body are not as functional as they could be (though I’m incredibly grateful for my health) I’m forced to pump the brakes on my limitless mindset.
The adventures of the heart and mind can go places where we must go to have lived fully- places unreachable by the body. Places higher than the stars. Places deeper than the deepest oceans.
