Day 2266: Words and the Power We Give Them to Hurt

The words of others don’t have the power to hurt you unless you believe them– that’s what I’d like everyone to know.

it’s 12: 06 PM on day 2266 of my journey towards independence and I managed to pray,   read Psalm 100: 4, go to church – today the sermon was about Joseph and how sometimes the right thing to do is not always the right thing to do –     and work on my  25 Smiles Campaign    –raised $9 161.04 only  $3 338.96 more to raise to reach my second goal of raising $12 500 for Smile Train before Jan 10 2017 (SO SO SO GRATEFUL to everyone who has supported this campaign so far ).

Today somebody said something that taught me that the words of others don’t have the power to hurt me unless I believe them (know yourself and choose not to believe the hurtful things people say about you).

Praise God for we are wonderfully made, marvelous and each of us reflects His holy image.

Psalm 139:14 King James Version (KJV)

I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvelous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.
