Day 2108: Why I am grateful for my wheelchair every day

Be grateful even for the things you sometimes wish you didn’t have to have– that’s my message to the world.

It’s 12 : 15  PM on day 2108 of my journey towards independence and I managed to pray, read John 1: 16, have breakfast, learn one new thing – Timeline of Women’s Suffrage Granted, by Country. Learn the year in which women’s suffrage was granted, organized by year. New Zealand was the first country to allow women to vote (in 1893), while the King Abdullah of Saudi Arabia granted women the right to vote in 2011. -and work on my  25 Smiles Campaign    – raised $5 910 only $340 more to raise before Jan 10 2017 (SO SO SO GRATEFUL to everyone who has supported this campaign so far 🙂 ).

This morning as I was listing out loud all the things I was grateful for my mom heard me say wheelchair it surprised her she repeated the word almost as if asking a question and I said something like yes, wheelchair because although I would rather not need one I am grateful to have one because I know there are people who need a wheelchair but don’t have one we must all be grateful even for the things we sometimes wish we didn’t have to have.
