Day 2051: The Reason For My Smile

“If you smile when no one else is around, you really mean it.”  – Andy Rooney

It’s 12 : 22 PM on day 2051 of my journey towards independence and I managed to pray, read John 9, have breakfast, learn one new thing – The first ever breakfast cereal was Granola, invented in the USA in 1863 by James Caleb Jackson, a convinced vegetarian, who was the operator of the Jackson Sanitorium in the state of New York. –  and work on my 25 Smiles Campaign – raised $5 540 only $710  more to raise by 10 Jan 2017  (SO SO SO GRATEFUL to everyone who has supported this campaign so far :)  ).

This morning as my dad was transferring me from my bed to the wheelchair he caught me smiling and asked why I was smiling (I was remembering a random act of kindness I read about yesterday) a genuine smile is permanently plastered on my face which surprises most people considering my condition of course it sucks royally that I can’t walk but there are plenty of things I can do what a waste my life would be if I focused on the one thing I couldn’t do and ignored all the things I could do.
