Day 1290: “I’m praying for you”

Hear words with the intention in which they were said–that’s what I keep learning.

It’s 1  : 15  PM on day 1290 of my journey towards independence and I’ve managed to  pray,   brush my teeth, read Job 24,  publish my Disability of the Day feature, feed myself boiled egg and All Bran Flakes for breakfast, practice sitting up straight to strengthen my core muscles, stretch my hamstrings and promote my Eradicate AIDS campaign – no donations so far today but Kate made a donation yesterday evening (THANK YOU God and THANK YOU Kate) which brings my total raised to $549.47.

Yesterday somebody came by with a birthday gift and just as she was about to leave she said I’m praying for you to which I think I said sincerely thank you I’m praying for you too in the past when people said I’m praying for you I would get really defensive and think do I look like I need extra prayers or something but now I realize the things people say to me come from a good place so I embrace it. Do you hear the intention behind people’s words?
