Day 1257: Half-truths and whole lies

Is telling a half-truth the same as lying – that’s what I’m wondering.

It’s 12  : 01 PM on day 1257 of my journey towards independence and I’ve managed to pray,  brush my teeth, practice sitting up straight to strengthen my core muscles,   read Esther 1, publish my Disability of the Day feature,  feed myself All Bran Flakes for breakfast and  promote my Eradicate AIDS campaign – nobody donated so far today but independent artist and host of The Absoloot Truth show on http://yopodner.com Absoloot made a donation yesterday   (thanks again Absoloot  :) ) which brings my total raised to $365.81 I am SO GRATEFUL – make sandwiches for our housekeeper’s neighborhood and  stretch my hamstrings.

Last night somebody asked me what do you do with your time I told him I do charity work and spend time with my gran when I can what kind of charity work do you do he asked to which I replied I make sandwiches for the kids in our housekeeper’s neighbourhood I didn’t want to tell him about my Eradicate AIDS campaign and make him feel like I was angling for a donation or something it just wouldn’t have been appropriate he was a guest in our home but now I feel like that half-truth was a whole lie. Have you ever felt like you lied after telling a half-truth?
