Day 1006: Trying

Sometimes you try your hardest and still fail miserably   – that’s what I keep learning.

It’s 5  :  08 PM on day 1006 of my journey towards independence and I’ve managed to finish reading Cross My Heart by Abigail Strom – the book is about uber-responsible cardiac surgeon Micheal and his rockstar next door neighbor Jenna and how they learns to love each other in spite of their differences I am a hopeless romantic so I liked it if you like romance novels I recommend this book – publish my Disability of the Day feature, brush my teeth,  feed myself All Bran Flakes  for breakfast, go to the doctor – I’ve been coughing for a couple of days so I thought I’d go have it checked out and it’s a good thing I did because it turns out I have Bronchitis I should be fine after I finish my antibiotics  – go visit family and watch Gambit with my sister at the Hamingways Mall – the movie was about an art curator (played by ) who decides to seek revenge on his abusive boss (played by ) by conning him into buying a fake Monet honestly it didn’t like it that much but if you like movies like Oceans Eleven this movie might be for you.

Last night I decided I wouldn’t go to sleep until I raised $100 for the Not For Sale Campaign through my campaign suffice to say I failed miserably I didn’t even raise $1 I just ended up really tired but hey I tried my best and that’s all I could ask of myself. Have you ever tried your hardest and still failed miserably?
