Day 988: The show must go on

The show must go on – that’s what I keep learning 🙂

It’s  3  : 22 PM on day 988 of my journey towards independence and I’ve managed to pray, brush my teeth, read Deuteronomy 5,  publish my Disability of the Day feature, stretch my hamstrings, take off my hoodie and t–shirt and put a clean t-shirt on with our housekeeper’s help – even with help it took me 1 1/2 hours to do if I never say the words can you help me again it will be too soon people often say to me everybody needs help sometimes which irritates me because I need more help in a day than most people need in a lifetime – practice sitting up straight to strengthen my core muscles,  feed myself All Bran Flakes for breakfast, tweet and Facebook about my campaign – no luck today – and  practice typing with both hands.

Today has not been the best of days for me my left hip (or at least what feels like my left hip) has been aching but you have to wake up every day, put a smile on your dial and try to help as many people as possible because there are lots of people who would have given an arm and a leg to be alive today to make a difference.  Do you get up, put a smile on your dial and try to help as a many people as possible regardless of how you’re feeling?
